Available Positions:

Brewer/Cellar Operator

This position will require you to rotating work across all aspects of the brewing process. You will have direct, hands-on responsibility for producing quality beer in a safe manner. You will be responsible for for wort production, cellar operations, beer clarification, beer packaging, plus tank and general cleaning duties.

This is NOT an entry level position. Only applicants with production or brewpub experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Wort production
  • Yeast management
  • Clean and sanitize fermenters, brite tanks
  • Transfer wort/beer between tanks
  • Filtering beer
  • Clean and fill kegs
  • Complete cold side duties (ie. Dry hopping, finings, fruit, etc)
  • Log completed tasks in brewery software (Ollie)
  • Load grain
  • Assist during canning operations
  • Assist Brewmaster with production scheduling, planning, raw ingredient inventory and ordering
  • Routine repairs and maintenance on equipment
  • Participate in brewery events (on and off site) from time to time

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly
  • Must be able to lift/move 150 lbs from time to time
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, twist, climb ladders or stairs
  • Must be able to work in hot, cold and wet environments
  • Must be able to follow safety protocols and SOPs
  • Forklift experience is a major plus
  • Keep good notes
